If you are considering graduate school, there are changes coming that you might not be ready for. I want to share my personal experiences to give others a good idea of what to expect once they take the plunge. Everything from income, field and lab work, to what it's really like starting to teach other students.

Happy birthday Mom!
Today is my mom's birthday! I wish I could be there... or wish you guys were all here. I hope you are having a good day. I miss you guys. Love you Mom!
We miss you too. We adopted a new Dobie yesterday on Mom's Birthday. His name is Bailey. He maybe one year old or a little younger. Wish I could post a picture for you. Chaz and Tank greeted him. Very loving pup. Maggie adores him, although she won't admit it.
I like option number 2, we all go there. I need some fine white sand after the glass shard / volcanic rock barrier on the causeway beach at Sanibel. Why don't I remember that pain from childhood?
Lol I don't remember that either. I remember the round pine cone things on the right side.
A sea wasp is a box jelly. It's not one of the deadly ones, but the sting can be pretty bad... for a few minutes. I will take pictures the next time we collect. I think the jellies from the other day are already preserved in alcohol.
The round pine cone things are still there, but now you have to wear sandals to wade out.
Last time i got stung by a jelly fish, i had a reaction for over a month, so i think I'll avoid even the not deadly types of box jelly. Lol, they'd probably kill me anyway!

ReplyDeleteAw! I can't wait to meet him. I'm glad they all get along. It won't be long before Maggie shines up to him. Maybe she'll play now.
DeleteI posted some pictures of him and Maggie to my Google profile - you should be able to click on my name and see them since they're shared publicly.
DeleteHe's a beauty!
Aw! I'm glad she has taken to him. He is very cute.
